Celebrating 20 years of serving the Middlesex County community, the Middlesex Family YMCA is teaming up with the Middlesex Kiwanis Club on Sunday, Sept. 29 to host the the Y’s Fall Family and Friends Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Y.
The rain or shine event is free and open to all. From 1-3 p.m., festivities will include a bounce slide, games, arts and crafts, and special appearances from members of the Coast Guard, police and fire departments and the mobile library. Kiwanians will be grilling hot dogs and providing snow cones at no cost to families. Beginning at 3 p.m., families are invited watch the Y’s movie offering in the gym while enjoying freshly popped popcorn.
The Y is located at 11487 General Puller Highway in Hartfield.
