Wilbur Brown Sibley, was born May 16, 1936, in Middlesex County, to the late Wilbur Wise Sibley and Gladys Brown Sibley. He passed peacefully on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024.
Mr. Sibley served in the United States Navy. During his working career, he served his community as owner/operator of Sibley Service Company, he also served this community with laundromats, HVAC service and appliance repair.
In his retirement, he continued to serve Harmony Grove Baptist Church with all maintenance needs for many years.
He is survived by his son, David Brian Sibley; daughter, Laura Anne Sibley; and grandson, William Jacob Walker.
A funeral service bus planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-7 p.m.
Interment will follow at Harmony Grove Baptist Church.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, is assisting the family.
