Walter H. Wright, 77, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022.
He was born on June 13, 1945 in North Ferrisburg, Vt., to the late Charlie and Evelyn Wright.
Walt was preceded in death by his two sisters and brother.
He is survived by a brother, Charlie Wright of North Ferrisburg; daughters, Heidi Wright of Milton, Vt., Heather Wright of Jamaica, Va., and Holly (Chip) Fortune of Milton, Vt., as well as two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Walt was a farmer at heart and had many hidden talents. He worked for Jim and Margaret Morse of Mad Maggie’s Fruit Farm in Laneview. He also enjoyed helping Wayne Burch of Crazy Clover Farm, and Warren Rainier. Walt also spent many hours catching up on the “Neighborhood Gossip” at Wares Servicenter.
Walt’s family thank the Riverside Hospice Care Team for the care and dedication shown to Walt.
