The Courthouse Community Orchestra, composed of adult and high school members from Middlesex, West Point, Gloucester, Mathews and Yorktown, will present its Christmas concert, “The Heart of Winter,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, at Urbanna Baptist Church. Admission is free. The orchestra will feature a young composer, Charles McKeller, as director and composer of “The Heart of Winter.” Charles is a junior at Gloucester High School and violinist with the orchestra. The orchestra also will perform at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, at Newington Baptist Church in Gloucester, and at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, at Gwynns Island Baptist Church in Mathews.
