“Summer People” is this weekend at Christchurch

If you’re looking for some fun this weekend, don’t miss the student production of the Shirley Jackson thriller “Summer People.” It’s a spooky, dark tale of two city folks who vacation in Tidewater, Virginia, and end up overstaying their welcome. The production is presented by the Christchurch School Department of Athletics and Co-Curricular Programs and directed by Eric Smith. Summer People is free and open to the public on October 24, 25 and 26 at 7 p.m. in the David and Wendy Charlton Fine and Performing Arts Center at Marston Hall on the school campus. For more information, contact Shannon Fisher, director of athletics and co-curricular programs, at 804-758-2306, ext. 166.
