Ware Academy eighth graders continue their oyster project sponsored by Virginia Farm Bureau and Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association (TOGA). The students have been responsible for helping build the oyster cages, growing the oysters, monitoring their growth and testing the water quality. The group includes, front, from left, Arabella Thorne, Nina Donis, Gracen Billups, Isaac Dye, Vick Spain (TOGA), Jackson Miller, Anna Foster, Amelia Reynolds; and back, same order, Luke Masiak, Natalie Fleet (teacher), Katie Ly, Dominic Williams, Chase Murphy, Marshall Hudgins, Landon Williams, Reylan Miltenberger, Piper Ward, Olivia Millard and Rylee Foster. Natalie, Dominic, Chase, Landon, Piper and Amelia all live in Middlesex County.
