Steps taken to address stuck barge at Stingray Point

This barge loaded down with pipe used by Seaward Marine Corporation to dredge Broad Creek was stuck at Stingray Point on the bottom of Chesapeake Bay. Scott White, project manager of Seaward, said the firm was sending a crane and crew out “to relieve the weight and remove the barge.” The Broad Creek dredging project was completed in June.
