Eighth grade St. Clare Walker Middle School students participated last month in a financial simulation called Reality Store. The goal of the exercise is to help students understand real-world expenses, realize the difficult financial decisions that they will encounter as an adult, and appreciate the value of education as it affects their future. Volunteers from the Middlesex County Kiwanis and Middlesex County Rotary clubs moderated the simulation which was presented by the Virginia Cooperative Extension Service. (Contributed)
