The Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington, will present the second session in the Second Saturday Series at 3:30 p.m. March 11.

The public is invited to hear speakers talk about the Steamboat Era and Chesapeake Bay heritage at the museum, said Executive Director Steve Humphrey.

The second session, “Remembering Robert H. Burgess,” will feature a discussion about the life and accomplishments of the former Chesapeake Bay historian, curator, author, photographer, freelance writer, woodcarver and lecturer. Burgess was bestowed the title of “Dean of the Chesapeake” by his peers and contemporaries…

Tickets for the March 11 event are $5 per person.
