For years, actually decades, leaders in the Town of Urbanna have looked for ways to find grants.
At long last things appear to be coming together through Urbanna Main Street, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of the business district of historic Urbanna.
In its short history Urbanna Main Street has held three successful Holiday Home Tours. Now, it’s working on a “wayfinding” signage project, explained Meghan Hall, executive director of Urbanna Main Street. “These signs are about more than just directions, they are about making Urbanna feel like the destination it truly is. We want every visitor who comes to our town to feel welcomed, oriented, and eager to explore.”
