The Middlesex County Parks and Recreation Department (MCPRD) is accepting registrations for the 2026-2027 youth basketball season in October and November.
Boys and girls between 2-15 years of age are eligible to play. The cost per player is $30. If there are more than one player in the family, the cost is $30 for the first, $15 for the second and $10 for each additional player thereafter.
Open registration will be on the following dates at the Tom Carter Memorial Gymnasium at the Cooks Corner Office Complex, 2893 General Puller Highway.
The registration dates are:
Tuesday, Oct. 13, 6-8 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 17, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 20, 6-8 p.m.; Tuesday, Nov. 3, 6-8 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 10, 6-8 p.m.; and Tuesday, Nov. 17, 6-8 p.m.
If unable to make any of the registration dates above, call the MCPRD at 804-758-0057 or email karen@co.middlesex.va.us and the MCPRD staff will arrange a registration drop off.
No registrations will be accepted after Nov. 21 and mail-in registrations must be postmarked by this date.
