Christchurch School’s Pierce Lambert finished third last week in the Virginia Independent School Athletic Association (VISAA) golf tournament at the Williamsburg National Golf Course in Yorktown.
Lambert shot a 75, just three strokes behind the state champion. He ended his final round with back-to-back birdies making birdie putts on the 17th and 18th holes.
At the end of the tournament Lambert was named to the VISAA all-state golf team. He is the son of Buzz and Robin Lambert of Hartfield.
