Why in 1871 did 32 people in lower Middlesex County choose to establish a Christian church? On Sunday, Oct. 24, Philippi Christian Church in Deltaville invites the community to join in its sesquicentennial celebration, 150 years, 1871-2021, with a worship service at 10:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon. The Rev. David Brown, pastor from 1967-1979, will be the guest speaker.
