Peter L. “Petey” Edwards, 70, of Church View, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022.
He was the son of the late Vester and Mary Edwards.
Petey retired from the Town of Urbanna as the sanitation collector with more than 50 years of service.
He loved to hunt, fish and was very fond of dogs.
He is survived by his brother, Alan Edwards (June); nephew, Jason Edwards; niece, Christina Kelly; and a great niece, Isabella Coman.
A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 in Hermitage Baptist Church Cemetery, Church View.
Arrangements are by Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda.
