“A huge thank you to Taylor Newman!” Foundry Program Director Beth Justice posted recently on social media. “The Foundry Middlesex would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Taylor Newman, an Urbanna Oyster Festival queen pageant contestant, for her incredible generosity!

“At our very successful open house, Taylor presented The Foundry with a $700 donation check and a large collection of school supplies for our kids!

“But that’s not all — Taylor is also joining us as a volunteer, giving her time and energy to support our mission and our youth.

“Taylor, your heart for service and commitment to making a difference are truly inspiring. We are thrilled to welcome you to The Foundry Middlesex family.

“Thank you for your hard work, generosity, and dedication to our community!”

The Foundry is a Christian youth center in Topping at 7962 General Puller Highway in Suite 603. The Foundry’s motto is “Forging Futures.” It is located among the storefronts facing Route 33, on the same side as Harmony Grove Baptist Church.

Anyone interested in supporting The Foundry through donations or volunteer time can email Justice at The FoundryMiddlesex@gmail.com or call her at 804-348-8059.
