The Middlesex County Public Library (MCPL) system has received a number of new and interesting books to help you get your 2022 reading off to a great start. It’s added recent releases of a range of popular fiction authors from James Patterson (“Fear No Evil”), Danielle Steel (“The Butler”) and John Le Carre (“Silverview”) to Jodi Picoult (“Wish You Were Here”) and Mitch Albom (“The Stranger in the Lifeboat”).
Equally new and noteworthy are Anne Patchett’s collection of essays, “These Precious Days”; the collaboration between Barack Obama and Bruce Springstein, “Renegades: Born in the USA”; and the surprisingly accessible analysis of the increasing role of artificial intelligence in our society by Henry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt and Daniel Huttenlocher, “The Age of AI and Our Human Future”.
Whether your interests tend toward best-selling fiction, cutting-edge social commentary, “The Complete Book of Air Frying,” “Android Smartphone Photography,” “Collected Poems of Sylvia Plath,” or even “Yeti: An Abominable History,” MCPL has recently added a book you will enjoy.
