The Hartfield Volunteer Fire Department (HVFD) station was built in 1977 and it has been added onto in its 49 years.
“It has been the pride and joy for so many of our life members but the time has come for us to modernize and improve,” said HVFD firefighter Jamison Smith.
The HVFD is raising funds for a new station, and will benefit from donations made to The Haunted Woods of Locust Hill this Halloween season.
