Kati Booth will speak to Friends of Dragon Run (FODR) via Zoom on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. The title of her presentation is “Accelerating Wetland Restoration in the Bay on Private and Public Lands.”

Booth is The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC) Virginia wetlands program manager for the Chesapeake Bay. The presentation will cover her work on non-tidal wetland restoration in agricultural fields, tidal marsh restoration using dredge material, dam removal on tidal creeks, and upcoming opportunities for engaging the public (SAV monitoring, coastal kayak tours, etc).
