Chargers football blanks Lancaster Devils

The Middlesex High School Chargers football team shut out Lancaster 35-0 last Friday, holding the host Red Devils to only 149 yards of total offense.

Middlesex gained 240 total yards, with 196 coming on the ground on 45 carries. The Chargers more than doubled Lancaster’s ground attack as LHS gained 91 yards on 22 rushes.

The Chargers (4-0) have had only one touchdown scored against them all season.

Middlesex will host the undefeated King & Queen Royal Tigers at the Sydney Thrift Athletic Complex on Friday, September 27, at 7 p.m.
