Golfers are invited to the Dave Marchant Memorial Virginia Veterans Golf Tournament Aug. 29 at the Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield. The event is hosted by Catholic Church of the Visitation Knights of Columbus Assemble 3349.
This is a four-player captain’s choice competition open to everyone. Proceeds will benefit the Virginia Veteran and Family Support program.
Team prizes will be awarded in each of three flights and golfers also will compete for individual prizes. The $100 per player entry fee includes use of the practice range, golf cart rental, green fee, on-course beverages and dinner at the Steamboat Restaurant.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon.
