Lucy “Evelyn” Carver of Wake passed away September 30, 2019. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Gina Meadows, Julie and Mark Bray, Amos Carver Jr., and Susan and Earl Mottley; nine grandchildren, Alison and Andy Hull, Blake and Grace Bray, Stephen Hager, Molly and Abraham Evans-el, Joel Hager, and Kathleen Hager; and one great-grandchild, Samuel Evans-el.
She was a member of Lower United Methodist Church and an active member of the farm community.
The funeral service will be Saturday, October 12, at 11 a.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda. Condolences can be shared with the family one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Interment will be with family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
