Louis Robinson, 81, of Richmond departed this life Saturday, April 2, 2022.
He was a member of Astoria Beneficial Club. He was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church (Idlewood Avenue), where he served on the usher board.
He is preceded in death by one granddaughter, Yemaya Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Hattie Robinson; one daughter, Sharon Robinson (Lorenzo); two sons, Jenson Robinson and Chris Robinson; two grandchildren, Maya and Jaden Johnson; one sister, Edmonia Scott; one brother, George A. Robinson (Frauline); a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law and other relatives and friends.
Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave., Richmond, where the family will receive friends 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 15. A graveside service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 16 at First Baptist Amburg Church, 244 Irma’s Lane, Deltaville. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Saturday.
