Lottie Pinkey Hall of Saluda, 98, had her soul take flight to return to its heavenly home on Monday, Oct. 26, 2020 at her residence in Saluda.
She was born in Saluda to the late Julius Augustus Byrd and Pinky West Byrd on Nov. 22, 1921. She was married to Herbert N. Hall, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Charlotte Irby.
She is survived by her loving children, Herbert A. Hall (Dorothy) of Baltimore Md. and her daughter Maxine C. Gardner-McGee (Oscar) of Saluda; five grandchildren, Noreen T. Douglass (Robert) of Towson Md., Everett Hall (Evonne) of Baltimore Md., Dove L. Gardner (Tina) of Louisville Ky., Carwell E. Gardner Jr. (Rhonda) of Springboro Ohio, Redondo L. Gardner (Wendy) of Thomasville N.C.; great-grandchildren, Nyyatta L. Hall, Giovanni L. Gardner, Darian Gardner, Julian Gardner, Joshua Gardner, Dove Gardner, Kenye’ Gardner, Heaven Gardner, Briana Gardner, Jazmine Gardner, Naomi Gardner, Carwell Gardner III, Dante’ Pascucci, Genero Gerrera, Lauren Mathieu; nieces, Marion Starks and Jean Chaney of Owings Mills, Md. and Emily Redmond of Philadelphia, Pa.; great-great-grandchildren; and her cherished friends, Ester Johnson and Thomas Waters of Baltimore, Md.
