Leftwich L. (Lefty) Stone, 92, of Topping, died on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
He was born in Richmond and lived in Henrico County until 1988, when he moved to Topping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Jennie Ransone Stone; and his brother, Vernon Stone.
He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Jean Bradley Stone; daughter, Sandra Holloway and her husband Robert; son, Mark Stone; granddaughter, Morgan Bartkowski and her husband Ryan; and two great-grandchildren.
He graduated from Old Glen Allen High School in 1947.
For 22 years he worked for A&P Tea Company and later retired after 20 years as secretary/treasurer for W.W. Lefews Food Broker.
He loved fishing the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay.
Visitation is planned for 2-4 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at Bristow-Faulkner Chapel in Saluda.
