Lamont “Sugar Foot” Smith went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2026.
He was born Sept. 4, 1957 to Daisy Roane Smith and Leon Smith.
He leaves to mourn his cousin Al Corbin and a list of other family members.
He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Saluda, where the Rev. Dr. John C. Wright is pastor.
There will be a homegoing service at Immanuel on Sunday, June 14, at 3 p.m.
