Kenneth Wayne Ward, 70, of Deltaville, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 29, 1953, he is the son of Floyd and Jean Ward.
In his spare time, Kenny enjoyed fishing and watching football. He was an avid fan of Washington and Green Bay. He loved spending time with his family and his friends that he lovingly called “The Herd.”
In addition to his parents, Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Carole Ward; daughters, Carmen Ward and Kristi Wilson-Sassaman (Daniel); granddaughter, Maddie Wood; grandson, Ethan Lawson; great-granddaughter, Kendra King; aunt, Sue Garrett; sisters-in-law, Helen Ward and Regina Ward; his best friend, Timothy “TimBop” Paul; many beloved nieces and nephews, and his fur babies, Cilla and Peanut Butter.
Mr. Ward is preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Gene, Thomas and Gary Ward.
The memorial service was 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18 at Philippi Christian Church, Deltaville. The family received friends following the service at Lower Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department.
Faulkner Funeral Home, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda assisted the family.
