
At a recent Middlesex County Kiwanis Club meeting, Kiwanian Joyce Allan, this year’s Teenager of the Year co-chairman, announced the winner of the 2026 Middlesex Kiwanis Club Teenager of the Year, Middlesex High School (MHS) senior Katelin Reiner.
Katelin is an honor student and, while in high school, has enrolled in dual enrollment classes, which awards college credit. She is also very active in her church, Hermitage Baptist Church. She has served as assistant director of the Hermitage Vacation Bible School, and has assisted with church missions for the homeless, for Eastern Shore migrant camps, and for the Middlesex skate park at Cooks Corner.
Katelin is also an entrepreneur and the owner of Katelin’s Creations. She is a silversmith and produces silver jewelry and other silver creations. She appears at local farmers’ markets and at Arts in the Middle, where she won the Young Artist Award in 2024.
Katelin is also a member of the Upper Middlesex Fire Department Auxiliary, where she is actively involved in planning fundraising events.
