Hurd’s Inc. of Deltaville is embracing the true meaning of giving with a well-stocked food pantry (right) in front of the store. The pantry is there to help and support those less fortunate. A freezer was recently added to provide frozen foods. The note on the shelf states, “Take what you need and leave what you don’t” as a way to encourage those in need to take and to those willing to contribute to leave food for the pantry. “We are truly blessed to host such a wonderful service and know how much this community looks out for each other,” was Hurd’s post on Facebook.
