October is here, the leaves are falling, and here comes the 16th Annual Holly Point Art & Seafood Festival on Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. This jewel of a festival offers original art, seafood, festival food, model trains, kids activities, a classic car cruise-in and show, live music, the return of pirate shenanigans, area maritime and history exhibits, restored workboats, free creek cruises, nature trails, gardens; in short, fun, food and activities for the whole family. There is something for everyone (see complete schedule on this page).
It all happens at Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park at 287 Jackson Creek Road in Deltaville.
