Helen Hockaday Longest, 90, of St. Stephens Church, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at her home, Goshen Farm, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Longest grew up in Spotsylvania and later became a resident of King and Queen County, where she raised her family. She retired in 2015 from King and Queen County as the Commissioner of Revenue after 44 years of service and was a founding member of Aylett Country Day School in Millers Tavern.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 49 years, G. Merl Longest Sr.
