Lady Chargers volleyball improves to 10-1

The Middlesex High girls varsity volleyball team improved to 10-1 with wins over Charles City, West Point and Northampton in recent action.

The visiting Lady Chargers swept West Point 25-19, 25-8 and 25-16. Lady Charger Lane Anderson led the way with 6 kills and 1 block. “She had her best night of the season,” said MHS coach Brian Walton.

The Lady Chargers defeated Charles City in three games on September 24.

The Lady Chargers defeated Northampton 25-6, 25-9, and 25-14 on Tuesday, October 1. 

The Lady Chargers (10-1) lead the Tidewater District and will host second-place King William on Thursday, October 3.

The Lady Chargers have another big game at home against Rappahannock on Monday, October 7.
