George Nelson Gallimore Sr. of Hartfield passed away on Friday, Aug. 13, 2021. His favorite things included cutting grass, planting flowers, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed meeting up with his friends at Hardee’s restaurant.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, April and Lorianne.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy S. Gallimore; his sons, George N. Gallimore Jr., (Crystal) William Michael Gallimore (Lisa), Paul Ashley Gallimore (Michelle), Richard Michael Klotz (Laurie); daughter, Maria Lucille Washington; grandchildren, Holly Carwile, Kimberly Francis, Ayden, Ava, Dustin, Loren, Leah, Conner, Gavin, Berkley, Hayden, and Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Jonah and June; and his best friend and companion, Tami Rae.
A graveside service is planned for 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20 at Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield. Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
