Francis Newton Williams, 92, of Mechanicsville, moved to his eternal home on Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Frances; sister, Pauline Hundley (Jimmy); brother, Vernon Williams (Bonnie); stepson, Russell Williams (Diane); and stepdaughter, Sandra Williams.
Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Virginia (Haley) Williams; and brother, James Williams.
A celebration of his life is planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12 at Hopewell Baptist Church, New Kent. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive their friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
The family thanked Suncrest Hospice, Home Instead Caregivers, The Haven Assisted Living, and friends, Brenda Olgen and Doris New, for their loving attention to Newton and Frances.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Saluda Chapel, is assisting the family.
