Francis D. Marrin Sr., 77, of Deltaville passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019. He was born and raised on the North Side of Richmond (Oregon Hill) and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 62. Francis retired from the City of Richmond with 32 years of service as an electrician and was also employed by Middlesex County at the Deltaville Convenience Center.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathryn Marrin Cannon and Kimberly Jean Marrin-Fountain; son, Francis D. Marrin Jr.; grandchildren, Jennifer, Crystal, Mary Lou, Ryan, Sierra, Josh, Cody, Noah, Hannah, Jacob, Alyssa, Carrie, Hudson, Samantha, Kallah, Reilly and Robyn; and great-grandchildren, Ainsley, Ethan, Sophia, Regan, Hailey, Ryan and C.J.
A funeral service was held Sunday, January 5, at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, where the family received friends two hours prior to the service.
Interment was in the Church of the Visitation Cemetery, Topping.
