Fairfields United Methodist Church will host its 24th annual Fairfields Fall Festival from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 16 on the church grounds, 14741 Northumberland Highway, Burgess. The festival features arts, crafts, collectibles, free children events (including a bounce house and pumpkin painting contest), barbecue, Brunswick stew, apple butter, hot dogs, music and extensive promotion.
