Registration for the Friends of Dragon Run (FODR) Spring Paddle Tours has opened.
FODR volunteers and a nature guide will lead three-hour kayak tours on the Dragon Run, reported FODR Communications Director Jack Kauffman. The nature guide will describe the Dragon Run and its ecological and cultural significance.
No prior paddle experience is required. Volunteers will assist guests as they paddle over beaver dams. FODR will provide all of the equipment.
The spring season extends from April 15 through May 19. Each day, nine guests, ages 18 and older, are welcome. The fee is $60. Register at dragonrun.org.
