Dolores Daniel, 63, of Deltaville, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026.
Born on May 3, 1963, in Riverdale, Md., Dolores moved with her family to Deltaville at the age of 14. She was one of eight children and treasured the close bond she shared with her family. Dolores was a devoted mother and grandmother and found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved.
She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Dolores is survived by her daughter, Denise Davis and her husband, Ashley, and their children, Ashton and Collins; her son, T.C. Bowen, Jessica, and their daughter, Ava; her son, Zach Daniel and his wife, Olivia, and their daughter, Daisy; her father, Aubrey Pilkerton; her siblings, Joe, Tommy, and Karen Pilkerton; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Priscilla Pilkerton, and her siblings, Billy Pilkerton, Jack Pilkerton, Julie Luffey and Rena Pilkerton.
A celebration of life was conducted on July 25, at 2 p.m., at the Lower Middlesex (Deltaville) Volunteer Fire Department. Family and friends were invited to attend and celebrate Dolores’s life.
Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda, is assisting the family.
