Daniel Webster Banks Sr., 75, departed this life on Monday, Aug. 10, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wardell E. Banks Sr. and Clara Cummings Banks; two sisters, Yvonne B. Gregory and Theresa Banks; and a brother, Shelby Banks.
He is survived by his wife, Joanie W. Banks; sons, Daniel W. Banks II (Candace), Darnell Banks (Chelsey), Darrell Banks (Antoinnette) and Joseph Banks; brother, Wardell E. Banks Jr.; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service is planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at First Baptist Church Harmony Village, Locust Hill. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The viewing will be one hour prior to the service. S
