
Christchurch School (CCS) sailors Wylder Smith and Wyatt Lipp were in Kiel, Germany, last week competing in the 2026 29er World Championship.
The week of racing took place in the Baltic Sea, at the Kiel-Schilksee Olympic Sailing Center, reported CCS Communications Assistant Jennifer Homer. The event attracted top youth skiff sailors from around the world.
Kiel offers some of the most dynamic and challenging sailing conditions in Europe with a range of weather — from light, tactical races in calm seas to high action with stronger winds and rolling ocean swells.
