Christchurch Scouts BSA Troop 341 is having its second annual barbecue dinner fundraiser on Saturday, April 23. Pitmaster Jerry Lyndsay will be firing up the smoker and Scoutmaster Rich is making his delicious firehouse baked beans. Each family-sized dinner includes a pound of real pit-cooked barbecue, with a pint of homemade baked beans, a pint of cole slaw, four sandwich rolls, barbecue sauce and four large brownies for dessert.
Pre-orders are now available for $30 each. Orders can be picked up between 2-5 p.m. in a drive-through arrangement at the Christ Church Parish House. This is the major fundraising event for the year and supports Scouts directly with funds for summer scout camp and other outings.
