The Rev. Lydia Land, foreground, is one proud pastor of her Philippi Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) family. The congregation provided Christmas gifts for 12 children and two adults in their Angel Tree program coordinated with the Middlesex County Social Services. Kate Crittenden, in background, Outreach Ministry team chairman, and Stephen Ward, vice moderator of the congregation, celebrated with the many Angel Tree gifts wrapped and ready to go out to the recipients. The Rev. Land thanked Connie Deagle for organizing this yearly project and Meghan George for decorating their Angel Tree.
