VDOT wants out of owning, overseeing

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) wants out of ownership and maintenance obligations of four public wharves in the Middle Peninsula, including Jackson Creek State Dock at the end of Lovers Lane in Deltaville.

The other three state-owned wharves are Timberneck, Browns Bay and Perrin.
