Bruce Alton Hickman, 78, of Wake, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022.
Bruce was a part of the Eckankar community, and enjoyed reading, trading stocks, and studying spiritually. He also owned and operated Manifest Construction for more than 40 years in the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck areas. Upon retirement, Bruce enjoyed volunteering at the local library.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Phyllis and Fred Hickman; his sister, Barbara Hickman; and his brother, Dan Hickman.
He is survived by his wife, Sara Hartnett-Hickman; his stepson, Tyler Hartnett; sons, Darian Hickman and Patrick Carlo-Hickman; sister, Carolyn (Ron Allen); and his brother, Dave Hickman (Jan).
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Sunday, March 27 at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel, Saluda. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
