Barbara Foster Brown, 69, of Newport News, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, after a long illness.
She was born on March 18, 1951 to Frederick and Nannie Foster of Port Haywood, who preceded her in death.
She was a former employee of Farmers Bank of Mathews and of Mathews and Newport News public school systems (retired).
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, a daughter, Makeisha Foster of Hampton; a son, Darius Brown of Newport News; a granddaughter, Sy’mone Brown of Newport News; two sisters, Pamela Bradley (John) and Freddie Faucett; nieces; nephews; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
