Homeless dogs at shelter will be blessed
prior to main event at All Saints in Saluda
October is time for the annual Blessing of the Animals! All Saints Anglican Church in Saluda is planning a fun morning for your furry family members, young children and grownups too. How about your horse too? This year, it is Saturday, Oct. 3.
Fr. Jeff Johnson will begin officiating with a 9 a.m. visit to Middlesex County Animal Shelter to bless all the homeless dogs in that facility. It is located at 2840 General Puller Highway in Saluda. Everyone is welcome to attend that part of the day. The shelter would be happy to receive any donations (canned or dry dog food) in celebration of this part of the event, but donations are not required.
