Middlesex High School’s golf team was runner-up to defending state champion Lancaster County in the Region 1A Tournament on Sept. 27 at Irvington’s Golden Eagle Golf Course.
The Lancaster Red Devils’ team score of 337 relegated Middlesex to second place with a 364.
Middlesex, as the Region 1A tournament runner-up, will advance to the Class 1 state tournament as a team on Tuesday, Oct. 11, along with the top three low scorers not on the first or second place teams.
