Nielsen McMinn shot a 38 to lead the Middlesex High School golf team to a 197-258 win over visiting West Point on Aug. 8 at Hartfield’s Piankatank River Golf Course, the Chargers home course. N. McMinn had the low score of the day.
Also for the Chargers, Hudson McMinn shot 54, Abel Crader shot 51, Cole Glasco shot 54 and Caleb Jackson shot 58. Only the top four scores count.
The Chargers are off to a 2-0 start having posted a 190-232 win against Mathews on Aug. 3 when Nielsen McMinn had the low score of the day.
