As summer draws to a close, the season’s final Holly Point Market events happen — including the one set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. this Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Deltaville Maritime Museum (DMM) and Holly Point Nature Park.

David Moran, our favorite balladeer, will be offering “open mic” fun in the south events pavilion 10 a.m.-noon this Saturday at the market. Sign up with David when you arrive.

Stuck On A Name includes, from left, vocalist-guitarist Joe Gaskins, saxophonist Chris Henley and trumpeter Toby Gillie. The band is known to attract a lot of high-spirited dancing from audience members, some of whom you can see kicking up their heels to a cover of Bunny Wailer’s “Baddest” in the Southside Sentinel video clip at https://www.instagram.com/p/CTJcOJYgo8m/.
