It’s National Library Week at the Middlesex libraries

This year, National Library Week occurs April 5-10 and the theme is “Welcome to Your Library.” National Library Week is an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and communities. First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association and libraries across the country each April.

Although many people have not been able to physically come to their libraries due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all public libraries in the United States have striven to provide services beyond their buildings. From providing free wifi into the parking lots to curbside service to expanded virtual resources…
