The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors announced at the March 2 meeting that the county has hired Ann Marie S. Ricardi as assistant county administrator.
Ricardi will eventually take the place of current assistant county administrator Betty Muncy who plans to retire sometime in 2022. “There is no set date for me to retire,” said Muncy in an email on March 4. “My plan has been to stay until I am at least 62, which will not be until November 2022.”
“We have a lot of projects in the air and training to be done to insure that we have continuity available in all major functions, not just what I do on a regular basis, but payroll, accounts payable, etc. We will be able to accomplish this by having dual coverage…”
